Aduke Damask Gown

From ₦480,000
Model in an ornate gold and blue damask outfit with a large matching gele, photographed outdoors

A full-length damask gown cut for a room you are meant to be seen in.

About this piece

The Aduke is our most requested owambe gown. The bodice is boned and lined in cotton so it holds its shape through a long night, and the skirt is cut on a soft A-line that walks well and photographs better. The gele is tied to match and comes with the piece.

In the workroom

We cut a calico toile before touching your damask, and the stones are set by hand after the second fitting so nothing is placed where it will catch. The train unhooks at the waist for the dancing.

Worn for

Owambe, milestone birthdays, chieftaincy

Photographs show the style and the cloth family, not the exact piece you will receive. Every commission is cut to your own measurements.
